HELLO, I’M CLAUDIA
I am Claudia Rubner, born and raised in Brunico, South Tyrol. My journey began at the age of 16 in England, where I learned freediving.
As an underwater performer, I made my first connections to the fascinating world beneath the surface. My pursuit of cinematic skills led me to study Film and Camera, where I deepened my expertise.
ABOUT ME
I worked in the UK, applying the skills I had gained in practice and further developing my passion. After returning to South Tyrol, I focused on contributing to various film productions and expanding my knowledge for underwater projects. With the HSE commercial diving certification, new dimensions in the underwater world opened up for me. I contributed to various film projects both above and below water, including Le Clair-Obscur (2022), and created my short film Mare Nostrum (2023). Additionally, I created my own underwater photography series, such as Otherworldly (2022) and Gravitation (2023), and presented my works in exhibitions in Germany, the UK, Spain, and Italy. I continue to develop my own film and photography projects and look forward to taking on new challenges.
